The QNAP ES1686Adc-2142IT-128G is a 3U high-availability storage array featuring 16 bays and dual active-active controllers that process I/O simultaneously and transparently take over each other's tasks. Each controller is equipped with an Intel Xeon D-2142IT processor and 64 GB of ECC memory (128 GB total). The system runs on QES with the ZFS file system; a hybrid backplane allows each bay to accept either SAS 12Gb/s or U.3 NVMe drives.
