For long aisles, warehouse shelving areas and outdoor zones where you want to push Wi-Fi in a specific direction, a standard access point is often not the best fit. The TP-Link Omada EAP650 D120-Outdoor is built for focused coverage, using integrated directional antennas to aim the signal exactly at your target area.
Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, it delivers Wi-Fi 6 performance for stable day-to-day connectivity. It is a strong choice for environments with handheld scanners, AGVs and other devices that need to stay connected while moving.
Its fully sealed IP68 enclosure is built to handle dust and water, and it is designed for demanding conditions. With an operating temperature range of -30°C to 70°C, it keeps working reliably where standard hardware may fail sooner.
The directional design makes it especially suitable for shelving areas and long, open sight lines. TP-Link recommends an installation height of 15 m and a recommended coverage length of 35 m to build coverage with less disruption and a more predictable signal path.
Deployment is practical with PoE+ support (802.3at). It also supports Omada Mesh and seamless roaming (802.11k/v/r), allowing clients to switch automatically to the access point with the best signal without interruptions.
Through Omada SDN, you can manage everything centrally via the app or web interface, which is useful when deploying multiple access points and keeping one clear overview for monitoring and settings.
