The Eaton 3P Ellipse 1700VA USB IEC UPS is a powerful and virtually silent tower UPS that is barely noticeable in your environment thanks to its fanless design (<25dB). With an output of 1700VA / 1040W it offers solid protection for office or study applications where multiple devices are connected.
Thanks to the line-interactive topology with AVR the UPS automatically corrects mains voltage fluctuations (184–264V, adjustable to 161–284V) — leaving the battery intact as much as possible until really needed. In the event of a power failure, it delivers a stabilized pure sine wave of 230V, essential for sensitive hardware and AV equipment.
On the back, you will find eight IECC13 outputs: four with full UPS backup and four with surge protection only. For charging phones or tablets, there are convenient USB-A and USB-C charging ports integrated. In addition, there is a HID?compliant USB port for secure communication and shutdown via Eaton UPS Companion software, and there is space for an optional Cloud PS monitoring card.
The UPS is powered by two front-replaceable VRLA batteries (12V/9Ah) with automatic self-tests and deep discharge protection. Thanks to cold start functionality, you can even switch on the UPS without mains power. With its compact size (81×312×305mm, 7.8kg) it fits well into any office space.
