The TP-Link TL-SG1006P is a Gigabit switch with 6 ports, 4 of which support Power over Ethernet (PoE, 802.3af). This means that connected devices can be supplied with power via the network cable, so you don't need extra sockets. The PoE budget per port is 30W and the total PoE budget of this switch is 67W. Ideal for small offices, TP-Link's TL-SG1006P is powered externally via a power adapter.
Overload Protection
Since the individual PoE ports can add up to a higher PoE budget than the total budget of the switch, overload protection is provided. You can prioritize certain connections. When multiple ports are used and the total PoE budget threatens to be overwritten, the port with the lowest priority is automatically disabled.
No configuration required
You don't need to install or configure anything for this switch. When you connect the TP-Link TL-SG1006P to the mains, the device is immediately ready for use. The LED indicators per port are also useful, with which you can see at a glance whether a port is active and how high the speed is per port.
