The TP-Link CPE710 is very suitable for setting up a stable point-to-(multi)point connection between buildings. With such a connection you get access to the same network in all buildings, without laying kilometers of long cables. Of course, two or more of these outdoor access points are required to create a point-to-(multi)point connection. Each CPE710 unit features a 23 dBi 2x2 MIMO antenna and delivers WiFi speeds of up to 867 Mbps on 5GHz.
Supports Power over Ethernet
The TP-Link CPE710 outdoor access point is powered via Power over Ethernet. You only need one network cable to power the access point and provide a network connection. This eliminates the need for a power outlet nearby, which is ideal for outdoor installations and placement in a mast. The access point comes with a PoE adapter (24V, 0.5A).
Outdoor housing, suitable for pole mounting
The outdoor housing of the TP-Link CPE710 is resistant to wind, water and dust (IP65). You will receive a pole mounting kit with the access point, so that you can attach it to a mast. Thanks to the built-in hinge in the mounting bracket, you can aim the access point very accurately. This makes setting up a point-to-point connection easier.
Central network management
Network administrators manage the entire network with Pharos products, such as the TP-Link CPE710, centrally via Pharos Control software. Install the software on a PC or access it via the web interface and use the extensive functions. Think of status monitoring, firmware upgrade and the configuration of multiple devices at the same time. Very handy is the Google Maps integration, which allows you to view the network topology in real time on the map. The map is continuously updated, so you always see the current status and coverage of each network device. If a network device disconnects, the administrator will immediately receive an email notification.
