High performance SATA 6Gbps JBOD expansion unit for the desktop
The JBOD storage enclosure TL-D800S allows you to backup and extend your QNAP NAS, Windows and Ubuntu computers and servers. The TL-D800S features eight 3.5-inch SATA 6 Gb / s drive bays and comes with a QXP PCIe card to connect the enclosure with an SFF-8088 (or SFF-8644) cable. This ensures reliable read and write performance for fluid storage and backup tasks.

- The SFF-8088 (or SFF-8644) connection cable supports four SATA 6 Gb/s channels per cable (24 Gb/s in total) and provides faster data transfer times than eSATA and USB.

High performance TL SATA JBOD
The TL SATA JBOD supports multi-lane SATA 6 Gb/s transfers, and each SATA lane is directly connected to a single SATA drive to help improve performance. With the 1-1 high-speed channel, the TL SATA JBOD delivers excellent transfer performance.
The TL-D800S offers software-controlled storage configuration for greater management flexibility. You can configure RAID and monitor the JBOD enclosure and disk health with Storage & Snapshots when connected to a QTS or QuTS hero NAS, or with the QNAP JBOD Manager utility when connected to a computer.
