With the VIGI 8MP IR Panoramic Turret Network Camera (InSight S485PI) you get a complete 180° overview of your surroundings, ideal for situations where you want to monitor a large area with a single camera. Thanks to the 4K Ultra HD resolution (8MP) you can see every detail clearly, while the IR range of up to 20 meters ensures that you can monitor just as reliably at night as you can during the day. The red and blue warning lights increase visual deterrence and help discourage intruders before damage occurs.
The camera uses advanced People & Vehicle Analytics to recognize objects and make alerts much more accurate. You can classify people and vehicles separately, so you only receive relevant alerts. With smart detections such as intrusion, line crossing, abandoned objects, loitering, and sound detection, you have maximum control over your security area. In addition, Smart Video Enhancement Technology automatically optimizes brightness, color, and exposure, so you maintain clear images even in challenging light.
The optical system consists of a 1.65mm fixed lens with a field of view of 180° horizontally, 86° vertically, and 180° diagonally. You can manually adjust the camera with pan (0°–360°), tilt (0°–75°), and rotation (0°–360°), so you can set the viewing direction precisely to your situation. The four 850nm IR LEDs can switch on/off automatically, on a schedule, or manually, and deliver reliable nighttime performance without overexposure thanks to SmartIR and HLC.
For video performance, the camera supports 3840×2160 as the maximum resolution, with flexible frame rates up to 30 fps (depending on rotation settings). The main and sub-streams can be set to multiple resolutions, with support for H.265+ and H.264+ compression for more efficient storage and bandwidth usage. With a dynamic range of 120 dB (WDR) and 3D DNR, images are kept clear, even in backlit or high-contrast situations.
A built-in microphone and speaker provide two-way audio, while the alarm in/out interfaces enable integration with other security systems. The RJ45 10/100M Ethernet port with PoE support allows you to easily connect and power the camera. You can also record locally via a MicroSD card slot up to 512 GB, useful for backup or standalone recording.
For networking, the camera supports a wide range of protocols, including TCP/IP, DHCP, HTTPS, RTSP, NTP, ONVIF, and more. You can manage the camera via the VIGI app, Web UI, VIGI VMS, VIGI Cloud VMS, or the VIGI PC Client. With simultaneous display of three main streams and three substreams, you can monitor multiple video streams simultaneously.
The housing is fully prepared for outdoor use with IP67 waterproofing and IK10 vandalism resistance, making the camera suitable for harsh weather conditions and hazardous locations. With an operating temperature of -30°C to 60°C, it continues to function reliably under extreme conditions.
