The TP-Link TL-SG3428XMP is an advanced Gigabit PoE+ switch with 24 Gigabit LAN ports with PoE+ (802.3at) support. These provide a total power budget of 384W. This allows you to expand the company network with additional network devices such as IP cameras, access points and IP telephones and provide them with direct power. In addition, there are 4 SFP+ ports on the device, so you can connect multiple switches via fiber.
Compatible with Omada SDN
With the Omada SDN firmware it is possible to manage this switch remotely via the Omada SDN Cloud portal. Via one clear dashboard you have insight into the status of the network and you can, among other things, change settings and detect problems. Because the network can be managed from different locations via the cloud, this saves a lot of time and costs.
L2 functionalities
This switch from TP-Link supports numerous L2 functionalities, including 802.1Q tag VLAN, Port Isolation, Port Mirroring and 802.3 Flow Control. There are also functions to maintain the network, such as Loop Back Detection and IGMP Snooping. IGMP snooping ensures that a multicast stream is only forwarded to the correct devices. With IGMP throttling and filtering you prevent the stream from going to unauthorized devices, which you can easily set per port.
Comprehensive network security
With the TP-Link TL-SG3428XMP, your network is extremely secure. For example, the switch applies functions such as IP-MAC Port Binding, Port Security and DHCP Snooping. The Access Control Lists (ACL, L2 to L4) feature protects your network data by blocking packets based on MAC address, IP address, TCP/UDP ports and VLAN ID. In addition, the switch supports 802.1X, which identifies network users through remote Radius servers. With the guest VLAN feature, non-802.1X users cannot enter the general network and can only access the guest network.
Super-fast 10G uplink: 4x 10 Gbps SFP+ ports enable high bandwidth and non-blocking switching capability.
384W PoE power allocation: 24x 802.3at/af PoE+ ports with a total power of 384W.
Integrated into Omada SDN: Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP), centralized cloud management and smart monitoring.
Centralized management: Cloud access and Omada app for added convenience and easy management.
Static Routing: Static routing helps direct internal traffic to make more efficient use of network resources.
Robust security strategies: IP-MAC-Port Binding, ACL, Port Security, DoS Defend, Storm Control, DHCP Snooping, 802.1X, Radius authentication and more.
Optimization of voice and video applications: L2/L3/L4 QoS and IGMP Snooping.
Separate management: Web, CLI (Telnet, SSH), SNMP, RMON and Dual Image provide powerful management options
