TP-Link TL-SG1210MPE 10-Port Gigabit Easy Smart PoE+ Switch

The TP-Link TL-SG1210MPE is a Gigabit switch with 9 Gigabit Ethernet ports and 1 Gigabit combo port (RJ45/SFP). Of these, 8 ports support Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+), which allows the TL-SG1210MPE to power devices such as access points, IP cameras and IP phones via the network cable. The total power budget of the switch is 123W, with a maximum of 30W per port.

Port Mirroring and VLAN
This switch offers various L2 management functions, including Port Mirroring and VLAN. With Port Mirrring you make a copy of the data packets from one port and you can then forward them to another port. This makes it possible, for example, to monitor network traffic and to trace possible details. Via VLAN you create virtual separations in your network, for example when different departments are only allowed to enter a certain part of the network.

Overload Protection
The TL-SG1210MPE has a protection function that protects the system from overload. If the connected PoE+ devices exceed the power budget of 123W, the switch will automatically turn off the power of the lowest priority port. You can set the priority per port yourself.

Management via web interface
In addition to the above management functions, the TP-Link TL-SG1210MPE also offers features such as network monitoring, traffic prioritization and PoE Auto Recovery. Via the online web interface and the Easy Smart Configuration Utility you can easily configure the switch and set up the network as desired. When you connect the TL-SG1210MP to the mains, the device is immediately ready for use. The LED indicators per port are also useful, with which you can see at a glance whether a port is active and how high the speed is per port.
