TP-Link TL-SG1210MP 10-Port Gigabit PoE+ Desktop Switch

The TP-Link TL-SG1210MP is an unmanaged switch with 9 Gigabit Ethernet ports and 1 Gigabit combo port (RJ45/SFP). Of these, 8 ports support Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+), which allows the TL-SG1210MP to power devices such as access points, IP cameras and IP phones via the network cable. The total power budget of the switch is 123W, with a maximum of 30W per port.

PoE Extend mode
A special feature of this 10-port switch is the extend mode, which ensures that the switch supports network cables up to 250 meters. This allows you to place equipment at a greater distance from the switch, although the transmission speed is then reduced to 10 Mbps.

Priority Ports and Isolation Mode
The first two ports of the TP-Link TL-SG1210MP are priority ports that are automatically given priority. For example, you can connect IP cameras and IP telephones to it to guarantee the quality of voice and video applications. In addition, with the Isolation Mode function you can choose to isolate the traffic on ports 1 to 4 or 5 to 8 from each other. This leads to extra security and improved data transmission.

Overload Protection
The TL-SG1210MP has a protection function that protects the system from overload. If the connected PoE+ devices exceed the power budget of 123W, the switch will automatically turn off the power of the lowest priority port. You can set the priority per port yourself.

No configuration required
The TP-Link TL-SG1210MP is easy to install and use, without having to configure the switch. When you connect the TL-SG1210MP to the mains, the device is immediately ready for use. The LED indicators per port are also handy, with which you can see at a glance whether a port is active and how high the speed is per port.
